Fully restored antique iron back chair C1880. Stripped down to its bare bones, broken leg replaced and frame secured before being traditionally upholstered by hand stitching each layer around the iron frame. They just do not make furniture like they used to! All traditional materials including cone springs, horse hair and vegetable fibre, wool wadding and hessian before being finished off in the striking nature velvet in aubergine with a contrasting black piping. This truly is a beautiful piece.
